Hesse: Beuth and Schäfer present crime statistics for 2022

Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) - Interior Minister Peter Beuth (CDU) will present the police crime statistics for Hesse in 2022 on Wednesday (10 a.m.). Together with State Police President Robert Schäfer and the President of the State Criminal Police Office, Andreas Röhrig, the minister will explain in Wiesbaden how the number of crimes in the state, the clear-up rate and the crime areas have developed. In 2021, the number of crimes in Hesse had fallen for the fifth year in a row. The police registered 336,030 cases, down 1.9 percent year-on-year.
