Frankfurt (dpa / lhe) - Eintracht Frankfurt wants to avoid embarrassment in the DFB Cup with the blatant outsider Stuttgarter Kickers under all circumstances. "We're going to Stuttgart to spend the winter in the DFB Cup," said Eintracht coach Oliver Glasner before the second round game on Tuesday (6 p.m. / Sky). Against the leaders of the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg, he calls on his players to "recall the best possible performance".
After the 5-1 victory of the Europa League winners against Bayer Leverkusen on the Bundesliga weekend, his team has plenty of momentum to take on the fifth division side. Glasner does not want to spare any regular employees. "We'll play in the best formation tomorrow and won't give our fit players a break," said the 48-year-old Austrian.
