Hesse: head-on collision after overtaking: seriously injured

Ebersburg (dpa / lhe) - A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a head-on collision with a car near Ebersburg (Fulda district). The 22-year-old wanted to overtake a truck on Friday and overlooked an oncoming car, the Fulda police said. In the collision, the motorcyclist fell onto the road and was seriously injured. He was taken to the hospital in a rescue helicopter. The 34-year-old driver was thrown into the opposite lane with her car and suffered minor injuries.
