Bernburg (dpa/sa) - The 26-year-old who escaped from the prison for addicted offenders is still on the run. In the meantime, a nationwide search is being carried out for the offender convicted of armed drug trafficking, as the Bernburg police announced on Saturday morning. Accordingly, the drug-addicted man was on Thursday with a nurse in a park area of the clinic and fled over a wall. The danger of the man is assessed as high, it said.
The suspect is 1.95 meters tall and weighs around 80 kilograms. He has short brown hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a maroon tracksuit top. Anyone who sees the man should inform the police immediately - officials warned not to approach him himself.
