In the final of all places: Daniel Hartwich fails in "Let's Dance".

The season 15 finale of "Let's Dance" is just around the corner. But in the big showdown of the RTL classic, viewers have to do without moderator Daniel Hartwich due to illness. Nevertheless, it promises to be a spectacular evening.

This year's "Let's Dance" season had to deal with a number of adversities. The corona virus repeatedly caused involuntary failures on the RTL show (also available on RTL). Daniel Hartwich also had to pause after an infection in the fifth live show. Ironically, for the finale, the moderator is again absent due to illness.

Hartwich's colleague Victoria Swarovski does not have to lead through the big showdown alone. Jan Köppen will once again be at her side. The moderator, known from other formats such as “Ninja Warrior Germany” or “Take Me Out”, had already stepped in at short notice when Hartwich was first out.

Either way, the "Let's Dance" fans can look forward to a spectacular evening. The three remaining couples each dance a jury dance, a favorite dance and a freestyle. In the final, she will be joined by actress Janin Ullmann with Zsolt Sándor Cseke, circus artist René Casselly with Kathrin Menzinger and ex-athlete Mathias Mester with Renata Lusin.

As a jury dance, Ullmann and Cseke present a Cha Cha Cha to "Habia Cavour". The couple's favorite dance is a contemporary performance to "Stone Cold" by Demi Lovato. Their freestyle theme is "Burlesque", which they want to interpret with the songs "Express" and "Show me how you Burlesque" by Christina Aguilera and "Welcome to Burlesque" by Cher.

Casselly and Menzinger dance a Cha Cha Cha for the jury to DNCE's "Cake By The Ocean". Her favorite dance is the tango to "Assassin's Tango" by John Powel. The motto of the freestyle is "Final Show". They dance to "Pushin' on" by 2WEI and Marvin Brooks and "Stole the Show" by Parson James and Kygo.

The third final couple, consisting of Mester and Lusin, dances a rumba to the jury to "It Must Have Been Love" by Roxette. Their favorite dance is a paso double to "The Final Countdown" by Europe. The theme of her freestyle is "The Smurfs". Musically, they are inspired by "Mambo

The eliminated couples will also perform their favorite dance from this year's anniversary season again. It starts at 8.15 p.m. on RTL. Around midnight it should be clear who the "Dancing Star" of the year 2022 is.
