La Rochelle: A Music Lesson in Tribute to Maestro Ennio Morricone

What does 'A Fistful of Dollars, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, & 'Once Upon a Time in the West, 'The Harvest of Heaven, & 'The Professional' share in common? Ennio Morricone, of course! The La Rochelle Cinema Festival will honor the composer of 500 film scores who died in 2020.

La Rochelle: A Music Lesson in Tribute to Maestro Ennio Morricone

His close and mythical collaboration with Sergio Leone has revealed his true talent. He has worked with some of the most important directors, including Pier Paolo Pasolini to whom the festival dedicates a complete retrospective. He also collaborated with Henri Verneuil ("Le Clan des Siciliens"), which was presented at the occasion to Alain Delon's tribute.

Stephane Lerouge will lead a music lesson on Ennio Morricone Monday, July 4, in the presence Marco Morricone's son and Marco Tullio Giordana. On Monday July 4, the public can view "Ennio", a documentary about the life and works of the Italian maestro. It will be available in theaters on Wednesday, July 6.
