Special evening for Lindsay Lohan: The actress not only celebrated the premiere of her new Netflix film "Falling for Christmas" on Wednesday evening. She also made her public debut with her husband Bader Shammas. The couple, who married away from the media last July, made their New York red carpet debut in chic outfits and in front of a Christmas-themed backdrop.
Lohan slipped into a see-through, nude evening dress that featured gold and floral embellishments. She styled her red mane into a sleek ponytail. She also chose a pair of shimmering diamond stud earrings and intense eye make-up with warm copper tones. Shammas donned a black suit with a white shirt underneath. The two just beamed into the cameras.
"Falling for Christmas" will be available on Netflix from November 10th. With the holiday comedy, 36-year-old Lohan is celebrating her acting and music comeback at the same time. The song accompanying the film is a new version of the Christmas classic "Jingle Bell Rock". She also had the song in her film "Girls Club - Caution biting!" (2004) opposite Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert.
For the new "Jingle Bell Rock" edition, a video has also been edited from numerous scenes from the Netflix film. "It's such a refreshing, heartwarming, romantic comedy and I miss making movies like this," Lohan gushed about her new film in an interview with Netflix. In it she embodies the rich, spoiled and newly engaged hotel heiress Sierra, who loses her memory in a skiing accident and ends up in the care of the very attractive pension owner Jake (Chord Overstreet). He takes care of her together with his precocious daughter Avy (Olivia Perez).
