Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: 23-year-old threatened and robbed in Neubrandenburg

Neubrandenburg (dpa/mv) - Two strangers threatened and robbed a young man in Neubrandenburg (Mecklenburg Lake District district) with a "pistol-like object". After the 23-year-old gave them his cash, the perpetrators continued with him to an ATM in a nearby bank, police said on Saturday. They continued to threaten him until he withdrew more money from there, which the perpetrators finally fled with. Overall, they stole money in the double-digit range. Police are now looking for witnesses who saw the crime late Friday night.
