They managed to free the woman and lock the man in the office, where he then barricaded himself with a cupboard.
The 25-year-old, who was in a mental state of emergency, was finally overpowered by the police - using irritants and "simple physical violence". The employee was taken to a hospital. The suspect, who lives in Teterow, was also admitted to a hospital after a medical examination.
