Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: First responders pull a woman out of a burning car

Güstrow (dpa / mv) - A 55-year-old man saved a seriously injured driver from a burning vehicle after an accident. The 19-year-old left the roadway on Wednesday morning on Landstraße 18 between Zarnewanz and Gnewitz (Rostock district) in a left turn to the right and crashed head-on into a tree, the police said. Her car caught fire. The 55-year-old first responder who arrived at the scene of the accident saved the woman from the vehicle, which she was no longer able to leave on her own. The car burned out completely. The 19-year-old was taken to a hospital.
