Neustrelitz (dpa/mv) - Two people were seriously injured in a traffic accident on the B198 in the Mecklenburg Lake District. As the police said, on Friday evening, an intoxicated 51-year-old drove his car into another car. The vehicle in front with two occupants got into the oncoming lane as a result of the impact, where it collided with another car. The 19-year-old driver and 15-year-old passenger were taken to hospital with serious injuries. There is no danger to life. The driver of the oncoming car suffered minor injuries. The uninjured 51-year-old had a breath alcohol level of 1.3 per thousand, the police said.
