Essen (dpa/lnw) - On the first weekend in November, people in North Rhine-Westphalia can expect changeable autumn weather. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), Thursday will be clear to cloudy and largely dry. In the evening rain is possible, especially in the west and south. The maximum temperatures are 14 to 16 degrees, at high altitudes 12 degrees. The rain will continue into Friday night, the temperatures will drop to 9 degrees.
Friday is expected to be very cloudy, with occasional showers, according to the DWD. The temperatures drop to a maximum of 10 to 13 degrees compared to the previous day. This trend of clouds and rain will continue into the weekend. Saturday will start with local showers, but it should loosen up over the course of the day and remain mostly dry. On Sunday it will remain cloudy and mostly free of precipitation in the morning, but later rain will come from the west. The highs are between 10 and 14 degrees on both days.
