North Rhine-Westphalia: bank details stolen: Four men in custody for fraud

Mönchengladbach (dpa / lnw) - After extensive investigations, the criminal police in Mönchengladbach arrested four suspects for commercial gang fraud. They are said to have caused six-figure damage. As the police and prosecutors announced on Wednesday, the gang is said to have offered high-quality kitchen appliances for sale on the Internet, but did not send any goods after receipt of the money. Over the course of two years, they are said to have committed more than 60 such crimes.

In addition, the suspects are said to have pretended to be bank employees in more than ten cases and gained access to bank accounts with the information obtained. The head of the gang is a 28-year-old from Mönchengladbach. All four men between the ages of 19 and 28 are now in custody.
