North Rhine-Westphalia: car hits motorcyclists on A4: 35-year-old dead

Eschweiler (dpa / lnw) - A motorcyclist died in a rear-end collision on the A4 near Eschweiler. The 35-year-old was hit by a car on Saturday night, said a spokesman for the Cologne police on Saturday morning. The car hit the motorcycle. The driver was being investigated for negligent homicide, it said. The spokesman did not give any further details. The Autobahn in the direction of Aachen remained closed during the night. The "Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger" had previously reported.
