Dortmund (dpa / lnw) - Two men in Dortmund attacked a supermarket at gunpoint and stole a five-figure sum of money. The two perpetrators came into the store with a black gun shortly before closing time on Saturday evening. There they threatened employees and customers and had the daily income handed over to them in an office. A third perpetrator was waiting for his accomplices in a getaway car in front of the shop, the police said on Tuesday. The trio then fled in an unknown direction.
Two witnesses suffered shock during the robbery and required medical treatment. Investigators are now hoping for more information from witnesses.
