North Rhine-Westphalia: cyclist crashes into a tombstone and dies

Olpe (dpa / lnw) - A cyclist suffered fatal head injuries when he hit a gravestone in Olpe. According to the police, the 27-year-old drove unchecked into a cemetery hedge at the end of a sloping street on Friday evening for reasons that are still unclear, fell over the hedge and crashed into the stone. Despite attempts at resuscitation, the man died at the scene.
