North Rhine-Westphalia: Driver crashes into two trees and dies

Recklinghausen (dpa / lnw) - A 57-year-old driver died after an accident in Recklinghausen. Early Monday morning he skidded on a traffic island, left the road and crashed into two trees, the police said. The car was badly damaged and the man was trapped. Two alarmed emergency doctors cared for the seriously injured in the car wreck, but could not save his life. He died on the spot.
