Rheda-Wiedenbrück (dpa / lnw) - A drunk 27-year-old rioted in his apartment in Rheda-Wiedenbrück (Gütersloh district) early Sunday morning and smashed several pieces of furniture. He then drove his car head-on into the patrol car of the police who had been called, the authorities said. Accordingly, a caller had previously reported that a man would riot in his apartment. According to the police, the caller was also worried about the man's partner, who should also be in the apartment.
On the way to the apartment mentioned, the police officers met the 27-year-old in a car. He drove in such a tight curve when turning that he crashed head-on into the patrol car.
