Bielefeld (dpa / lnw) - The sports court of the German Football Association (DFB) has imposed a fine of 43,000 euros on Bundesliga relegated Arminia Bielefeld for firing pyrotechnics by his supporters. The second division club can use up to 14,000 euros of this sum for security or violence prevention measures.

According to a statement from the DFB on Tuesday, before and during Arminia's Bundesliga game at VfL Bochum on May 6, pyrotechnic objects were set off several times in the Bielefeld spectator area. Accordingly, a total of 40 flares and three smoke pots were ignited.
