North Rhine-Westphalia: Mourning flags for Mikhail Gorbachev in NRW

Dusseldorf (dpa / lnw) - On the death of former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev, the flags on public buildings in North Rhine-Westphalia will be set at half-mast this Saturday. NRW Interior Minister Herbert Reul (CDU) ordered this. The order applies to all office buildings in the state, the municipalities and municipal associations as well as other facilities that are subject to state supervision. Gorbachev will be buried this Saturday.
