North Rhine-Westphalia: scooter driver collides with truck: 16-year-old dead

Cologne (dpa / lnw) - A 16-year-old scooter driver died in Leverkusen in a collision with a truck. According to the police, the teenager collided with the truck turning left at an intersection on Wednesday. Despite immediate resuscitation measures, he died shortly afterwards in hospital. The 54-year-old truck driver suffered a shock. According to testimonies, the youth is said to have driven his scooter over red.
