North Rhine-Westphalia: Two new strikers for the Iserlohn Roosters

Iserlohn (dpa/lnw) - The Iserlohn Roosters have signed two strikers for the new season, both of whom have already played for the club. 19-year-old Yannick Proske, who played for the Roosters in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) in the 2020/2021 season at the age of 17, is returning after a year in the Canadian junior league WHL. "I'm sure that I can play a different role than two years ago. This year I want to play a successful and entertaining season with the Roosters," Proske said in a club statement on Friday.

The club also announced Valentin Busch's commitment on Friday. The 24-year-old played for the Bietigheim Steelers, the Wolfsburg Grizzlies and for two months for the Roosters last season. Now he has a one-year contract. "Valentin gets the chance to prove himself again in the DEL, at the same time we gain depth and flexibility in the squad," said Iserlohn's sporting director Christian Hommel.
