North Rhine-Westphalia: Ukrainian Ambassador comes to NRW for his inaugural visit

Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - The Ukrainian ambassador Oleksii Makeiev is coming to North Rhine-Westphalia at the beginning of the week for an inaugural visit. On Monday morning, the Mayor of Düsseldorf, Stephan Keller (CDU), wants to receive the 46-year-old, who is then to sign the city's Golden Book. A conversation with the President of the State Parliament, André Kuper (CDU), is planned for the afternoon. Among other things, it should be about the people who fled to Germany from the country attacked by Russia and aid from NRW. In the evening, Cologne Mayor Henriette Reker (non-party) will be waiting for the guest, who has only been in office since October 23. A visit to Prime Minister Hendrik Wüst (CDU) is on the agenda for Tuesday.
