Saxony: 21-year-old dies while swimming in Görlitzer See

Görlitz (dpa / sn) - A 21-year-old man died while swimming in a lake in Görlitz. On Sunday, he and two other men swam from the beach towards a platform 70 meters away, a police spokesman said on Monday. For reasons that are still unclear, he lost his strength and panic broke out among the swimmers. The 22-year-old went down and never reappeared. The other men, aged 21, managed to save themselves. The police and fire brigade searched for the missing person until a diver finally pulled him lifeless out of the lake.
