Dresden (dpa / sn) - Saxony's correctional system is growing. 67 young women and men received their certificates at the Bobritzsch training center on Wednesday and were accepted as civil servant candidates on probation. According to the announcement, Minister of Justice Katja Meier (Büngnis 90/Die Grünen) agreed to changes in the course of the corona pandemic at the handover, work in prison also had to be reorganized and well-established processes questioned. Meier also pointed out that the entire penal system serves rehabilitation. "We do our best work through interaction with others, when we challenge and learn from one another." According to the ministry, 100 places are available per year for the two-year career training in the penal system.
