Saxony-Anhalt: 60-year-old cyclist seriously injured in a turning accident

Magdeburg (dpa/sa) - A 60-year-old cyclist was hit by a car on Friday and seriously injured. A 33-year-old driver overlooked the cyclist in Magdeburg when turning, the police said. Then there was a collision. The man suffered serious injuries, police said, and had to be taken to a hospital. The 33-year-old driver of the car was shocked. The police are now investigating the exact course of the accident.
