Magdeburg (dpa/sa) - The clinic in the Pfeiffersche Stiftungen in Magdeburg has opened its renewed emergency room. The rescue center in the Cracau district now has a modern shock room, expanded treatment rooms and the latest technology for emergency acute care, a spokesman for the hospital said on Thursday.
According to the spokesman, the “heart of the emergency room” is the large shock room, which has the latest ventilation and anesthetic equipment for acute emergencies. The hospital has also set up a triage room. The triage is used for the initial assessment of incoming patients and to determine the urgency of treatment.
