Braunsbedra (dpa/sa) - A girl was critically injured while bathing in Hasse Lake near Braunsbedra (Saalekreis). According to initial findings, the 8-year-old played with other children on the shore of the lake on Thursday evening, the police said on Friday morning. When she dived in the lake, she had to be searched for and resuscitated by witnesses in the water. A rescue helicopter took the girl to a hospital.
According to the police, a Leipzig resident photographed what was happening and thus disrupted the operation. His camera was confiscated, but he resolutely resisted it. The man is being investigated for violating his most personal area of life by taking pictures and resisting law enforcement officers.
