Saxony: Energy summit still sees open questions regarding relief

Dresden (dpa/sn) - The Saxon government and numerous associations still see question marks behind the relief packages to mitigate energy prices. The steps that have now been taken have been well received, said Energy Minister Wolfram Günther (Greens) on Monday after the 3rd Bavarian energy summit. However, it was found that there were still many questions about implementation. Economics Minister Martin Dulig (SPD) announced aid from the Free State if the federal hardship fund for small and medium-sized companies still had gaps. "It is our job to ensure that our companies get through the crisis and that jobs are secured." Saxony will invest “on a large scale” in crisis management.
