Saxony: Highfield Festival at Störmthaler See starts

Großpösna (dpa/sn) - After a two-year Corona break, the Highfield Festival will start again on Friday (12.30 p.m.) on Lake Störmthal near Leipzig. The punk rock band Alex Mofa Gang will kick off the three-day event on Friday afternoon. According to the organizer, around 35,000 tickets were sold in advance. The festival is almost sold out. The program from Friday to Sunday (August 21) includes performances by around 40 artists - including well-known music greats from Germany such as Deichkind, AnnenMayKantereit, Casper, Sido and Kraftklub.
