Zwickau/Crimmitschau (dpa/sn) - On Thursday, the district court of Zwickau convicted a man who stabbed his partner to death during an argument. The court saw it as proven that last February he had stabbed the woman's neck and upper body several times in an apartment in Crimmitschau (Zwickau district), the district court said on Thursday. The victim died on the spot. The man was 32 years old at the time of the crime and was under the influence of alcohol. He confessed to the crime and has been in custody since February 11. The judges sentenced him to ten years in prison. The judgment is final.
