Delitzsch (dpa / sn) - In the election of the mayor in Delitzsch (Northern Saxony), there was no decision in the first round. None of the four candidates achieved the necessary number of votes to prevail in the first ballot. Incumbent Manfred Wilde (independent) came to 46.9 percent. The candidate Jens Müller, supported by the SPD, Left and Greens, received 22.7 percent. Uwe Bernhardt, candidate of the Free Voters' Community, got 21.9 percent. 8.5 percent voted for the individual applicant Hagen Grell. According to the city, turnout was 44.9 percent.
