The Villart association organizes the Italian village in Serres-Castet. It is open from Saturday, June 4, to Sunday, June 12, at Parc Liben, between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Crafts, gastronomy and art
The white capitals will be open to artisans from Italy for nine days. They will present products from Piedmont and Liguria as well as Sicily, Venice, and Naples. You will find leather bags, Italian shoes and clothing, as well as fashion accessories like wooden games, Murano glasses, minerals, Etnalavastone tables, and other items.
You can also enjoy Italian specialties like charcuterie and parmesan. The site will also have a restaurant and an ice cream shop.
It will also be possible to see Italian art, from Venetian costume to Renaissance art, with reproductions of frescoes and Sistine Chapel frescoes, created by Domenico, a Sicilian artist.
On Saturday, June 4, 2010, the village will be open at 10 a.m.
