'Sex and the City' sequel: Will Charlotte York go to jail?

In the summer of 2023, the spin-off of the hit series "Sex and the City" will enter the next round. What the second season of "And just like that..." will be about is not yet known. The makers of the series are now releasing the first pictures from the set - which may reveal something about the plot.

The Sex and the City sequel And Just Like That... is set to return for a second season in summer 2023. Although nothing is known about the plot, there is now a first look at the wardrobe of the stars.

The series, known for its fashion statements, even has its own Instagram account for its costumes: "And Just Like That... Costumes". Costume designers Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago posted the first looks of the new season there. Among other things, Sarah Jessica Parker, who embodies the main character Carrie Bradshaw, wears the Dior snakeskin heels again, which she also wore in the first "SATC" film in 2008 and in the first season of "And Just Like That...". Has.

This time, however, the combination of her outfit is particularly wild: Carrie wears high socks with the high heels and a small Fendi bag around her ankle, as shown in a photo. She combines it with a washed-out pilot's suit from the sixties, revised by designer Kate McGuire. Things get even more edgy in Carrie's hands, where she carries a handbag in the shape of a dove by JW Anderson.

While Carrie stumbles through New York City as extroverted as ever, Charlotte York, played by Kristin Davis, looks classically modern as always in the pictures: She wears a black pencil skirt with a black blouse with little dots and a white Peter Pan collar as well a flashy pink bow around her neck.

As the costume designers' Instagram account reveals, viewers will also get to know a new side of Charlotte in the second season. In one photo, the actress poses in an olive green jumpsuit. The stylists commented on the unusual relaxed outfit with the words: "Any idea where Charlotte could wear this?" Most fans are betting on volunteering, but some are even guessing jail.

Evan Handler, who plays Charlotte's husband Harry, has also been asked to try on. We see him in a dark blue, reserved checked suit with black shoes and a white checked shirt.
