Erfurt (dpa/th) - A pregnant 22-year-old was hit by an e-scooter in Erfurt and was slightly injured. The unknown driver fled after the impact on Friday afternoon, the police said in the evening.
The woman, who was three months pregnant, was previously on the sidewalk when the e-scooter driver came towards her and hit her stomach with the handlebars. The 22-year-old fell to the ground and, according to the police, slightly injured her hands and legs. She was taken to a hospital.
The e-scooter driver did not provide any help, nor did he leave his personal details, it was said. The police are investigating unauthorized removal from the scene of the accident.
