"I hate children," says Rammstein singer Till Lindemann. And that would have been the title of his upcoming tour. But it falls flat first. The corona pandemic is to blame for this again - at least indirectly.
Singer Till Lindemann has postponed his planned "I hate children" tour to next year. The Rammstein frontman announced this on his website. "For reasons beyond our control, it is with a heavy heart that we have to announce the postponement of our tour to autumn 2023," said a statement on behalf of the 59-year-old. Actually, the concerts should take place in November and December.
It was planned "to present the shows in as many cities as possible in this short period of time," it said. But due to "all previously postponed tours during the Covid epidemic", the project "proved impossible". The reason: there would simply be a lack of available venues.
That's why it was decided to postpone the tour to autumn 2023. "Because we want to bring you the best TL shows ever." All tickets already purchased would remain valid. "We look forward to seeing you in 2023," it concludes.
Till Lindemann has released several songs under his own full name since 2020. Most recently, in May 2021, he released the song, which is called like the tour: "I hate children". Previously, the singer worked together with the Swedish musician Peter Tägtgren on a metal project from 2015, which was only titled with his surname Lindemann.
But Till Lindemann is still active with Rammstein. He also wants to go on a big stadium tour with his band again in 2023, as was only recently announced. In 2023, Rammstein will appear twice in the Munich Olympic Stadium (June 7th and 8th) and twice in the Berlin Olympic Stadium (July 15th and 16th). They will also visit Lithuania, Finland, Denmark, Hungary, Austria, Poland and other European countries.
