Public transport: survey: majority for cheap successor to the 9-euro ticket

A clear majority of Germans would like a cheap offer in local and regional transport even after the 9-euro ticket has expired. In a survey by the opinion research institute Kantar on behalf of the news magazine "Focus", 79 percent of those questioned are in favor of a similar ticket that is financially supported by the state. 16 percent are against it. 5 percent are undecided or did not provide any information. At 90 percent, approval is greatest among the under-30s.
