US actor John Malkovich (68) appeared on Tuesday in time for his open-air theater performance in the Czech castle of Kromeriz - and then immediately disappeared again. Fans hoped in vain for an autograph session or any other meeting with the Hollywood star.
But that has nothing to do with "star airs", Pavel Pesek from the organization agency Vanity Club, told the Czech news agency "CTK". "I don't want to exaggerate, but we still have Corona among us, which can quickly put a person in quarantine. And since John Malkovich and all the musicians are on tour, they can't afford it". Any kind of meeting was excluded.
John Malkovich is on a world tour with the play "The Music Critic" in English, in which he is seen as a bitter music critic. The performance in the Czech Republic was staged with subtitles. According to reports, there was applause for the US star and lots of laughter in the audience.
