Schneider Electric, Grenoble European Green Capital 2022 offered Tuesday, July 5, a day centered around the theme "Companies are dedicated to biodiversity". A conference and round table were held at the IntenCity complex, which is home to the innovation division of the group. The day was concluded with the signing of an agreement by the company and the League for the Protection of Birds. The three Schneider Electric sites located in Grenoble (Electropole, IntenCity, and Technopole on Grenoble peninsula), now have the status "LPO refuge".

Marie-Paule de Thiersant is general secretary of LPO France. She says that the LPO refuge is the first step to bring nature closer to citizens and workers. Today, biodiversity is being neglected. We have a role to play in the discovery and training of biodiversity towards employees. Jean-Christophe Hutt is Schneider Electric's environment and energy director France. He says that Schneider Electric has committed to local actions beyond the three Grenoble sites.
