Mühlhausen (dpa/th) - A 36-year-old man threw a machete at a 38-year-old opponent during an argument in Mühlhausen, but missed. The 38-year-old, who was walking his dog, had previously been approached by an aggressive woman on Saturday, the police said on Sunday. Two men then joined them.
During the initially verbal argument, the 36-year-old suddenly grabbed an object on his back, whereupon the 38-year-old defended himself with pepper spray. This was followed by throwing the machete, which the attacked man took with him and brought to the police. The aggressive trio was found at the scene of the crime during the immediately initiated manhunt. It was not known what sparked the dispute.
