Thuringia: 79-year-old in Nordhausen freed from a helpless situation

Nordhausen (dpa/th) - Rescue workers in Nordhausen freed a 79-year-old woman from a helpless situation after a fall. A neighbor reported to the police on Saturday and reported that she had not seen her elderly neighbor for three days, the police said on Sunday. They also did not respond to ringing and knocking. After the rescuers gained access to the elderly woman's apartment, they found her lying on the floor in her apartment. The woman was admitted to the Südharz Hospital as an inpatient.
