Baden-Württemberg: After the death of senior citizens, the police are examining possible parallels

Michelbach an der Bilz (dpa/lsw) - After the violent death of several senior citizens in the Schwäbisch Hall region, the police still do not rule out a connection between the three acts. "We are still investigating and checking for clues," said a police spokesman on Tuesday. Another act with similar parallels has not yet become known.

Last week, an 89-year-old woman was found dead in her apartment in Michelbach an der Bilz. In this context, the death of a 77-year-old in December last year is being re-examined. The woman's body was found in her apartment in Schwäbisch Hall. Police believe both women were killed. The death of a 94-year-old senior whose body was found in Schwäbisch Hall in October 2020 is also unclear. Here, too, the police are assuming a homicide.

From the point of view of the police, there are certainly parallels. In all three cases, for example, the three victims were older women from the same region. So far, however, there is no evidence of a connection, the police spokesman emphasized on Sunday and spoke of "routine" and "automatism" during the review.
