Baden-Württemberg: alcohol: "glue to society" or dangerous drug?

Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - Alcohol can relax and connect people - but it can also lead to addiction to death: With its special exhibition "Intoxicating. 10,000 years of beer and wine", the Baden-Württemberg State Museum is highlighting the long history of alcohol , its cultural role and its negative impact on health and social life. The focus of the show, which can be seen from Saturday (October 22nd) until the end of April, is the question: "Is alcohol a glue for society?" said museum director Astrid Pellengahr on Thursday.
