Heiligenberg (dpa / lsw) - A fire in a single-family house in Heiligenberg (Lake Constance district) caused damage of around 300,000 euros. In the night from Monday to Tuesday, smoke detectors woke up the six residents of the house, the police said. All people between the ages of 7 and 79 were able to leave the building in good time and, according to current knowledge, remained unharmed.
The fire broke out on the first floor. The reason for this was not initially clear, as it was called. According to the police, the extinguishing work would last until the morning. The house is no longer habitable, the damage is currently estimated at 300,000 euros.
