Baden-Württemberg: Friedrichshafen starts with victory in the premier class

Neu-Ulm (dpa/lsw) - The Bundesliga volleyball team at VfB Friedrichshafen started the new Champions League season with a narrow win. Coach Mark Lebedew's team defeated the French champions Montpellier HSC VB at the start of Group A on Thursday after being 2-0 down in sets 3-2 (20:25, 20:25, 25:22, 25:23, 15: 11). It was Friedrichshafen's fourth competitive win in a row. Their next game in the premier class is next Wednesday at Vojvodina NS Neme Novi Sad in Serbia.
