Baden-Württemberg: gas escapes: six people in the clinic

Neuried (dpa / lsw) - Because toxic carbon monoxide escaped from a gas heater in an apartment building in Neuried (Ortenaukreis), six residents came to a hospital. The police announced on Friday. Investigations revealed that a flap in the exhaust gas system of the heating was opened the day before during maintenance work and was probably no longer closed. Carbon monoxide is a colourless, odorless and tasteless gas and is therefore considered to be particularly dangerous.
