Baden-Württemberg: International business ensures sales growth at Bechtle

Neckarsulm (dpa/lsw) - The IT service provider Bechtle is sticking to its cautious annual forecast even after decent sales growth in the third quarter. In the months of July to September, sales increased by 14.6 percent to 1.46 billion euros year-on-year, primarily thanks to foreign business, as the company announced on Thursday in Neckarsulm. After nine months, this means an increase in revenue of 11.9 percent. Bechtle boss Thomas Olemotz is sticking to the forecast of "significant" growth of between five and ten percent.

Earnings before taxes increased only slightly in the quarter by 1.3 percent to 88.2 million euros. The Corona-related savings, such as travel expenses, have largely disappeared again, and cost inflation is also making itself felt, it said. The bottom line is that net profit grew by 1.1 percent to 63.4 million euros.
