Ludwigsburg (dpa / lsw) - During large-scale controls in the Böblingen and Ludwigsburg districts, the police found 40 criminal offenses and almost 400 administrative offenses. Around 370 police officers have been on the road since Friday morning, according to the police, to check restaurants and casinos, among other things, and to check train stations, residential areas, public squares and the motorway. Federal police officers were also on duty.
The officials uncovered various violations, including against the Narcotics and Weapons Act, forgery of documents and the Prostitution Protection Act. A restaurant was closed due to labor law violations. A total of 18 people were arrested. An officer was attacked during a check in Ludwigsburg.
The background to the large-scale operation was to fight crime in public spaces. The action was organized for this year's search and security day at the police headquarters in Ludwigsburg.
