Baden-Württemberg: Motorcyclist seriously injured after a collision with a car

Mannheim (dpa / lsw) - A motorcyclist in Mannheim was seriously injured after, according to the investigation so far, she was hit by a lane-changing driver and subsequently thrown against a traffic light pole. The accident happened in the morning, as the Mannheim police announced on Monday evening. The motorcycle then crashed into a tram, but passengers were not injured. The 57-year-old motorcyclist was taken to a clinic for further treatment. The damage amounts to several thousand euros.
