Baden-Württemberg: Munich Lions countered Karlsruher SC: 4-0 win

Kirchheim (dpa / lsw) - Karlsruher SC suffered the first defeat in preparation for the new season in the 2nd Bundesliga. The Badeners lost to the third division team TSV 1860 Munich on Saturday with 0: 4 (0: 3). Albion Vrenezi gave the lions the lead in Heimstetten, Bavaria, after just three minutes. Erik Tallig (20') and Phillipp Steinhart (38') completed two more counterattacks before the break.

Even the substitution of newcomer Mikkel Kaufmann did not bring the hoped-for turnaround for KSC. Although coach Christian Eichner's team presented themselves better after the break, the goal came again on the other side. Vrenezi cheered again.

Karlsruher SC is still looking for a test match opponent for next Wednesday at the training camp in Neukirchen am Großvenediger. On July 3rd, a test against Bundesliga promoted team SV Werder Bremen in Zell am Ziller will mark the highlight of the preparations.
